How Eating Clean and Healthy Helped Me Lose 50 Pounds in 3 Months
When I decided to take charge of my health, I was tired of feeling tired, bloated, and underweight. After trying different diets and approaches, I finally found what worked for me—eating clean and healthy, and exercising regularly.
Start with Small Changes
I started small, cutting out processed foods and sugary treats. I gradually added more vegetables and swapped out unhealthy snacks for healthier ones like fruits and nuts.
I also kept a food journal to keep track of my eating habits. This made me accountable for what I was eating and allowed me to analyze my diet in order to make changes.
Be Consistent with Exercise
To make sure I stayed on track, I made sure to incorporate regular physical activity into my day. I focused on exercises that I enjoyed, like cycling and running, to make it easier for me to stick to a workout routine.
I also made sure to challenge myself with new exercises and new goals. Setting realistic goals and creating a timeline would make each workout session more rewarding and motivating.
Plan Meals and Have Patience
In order to reach my fitness goals, I had to plan my meals and snacks in advance. This made it easier for me to stick to a nutrient-rich diet, and avoid snacking on unhealthy foods.
It was also important for me to plan ahead for special occasions and holidays. Having a plan in place on days like this made it easier for me to stay on track and still enjoy myself.
Find Balance
Most importantly, I had to stay consistent and have patience in order to see results. Eating clean and healthy doesn’t have to mean limiting yourself from indulging in the occasional treat or having a night out. It’s all about finding balance.
I’m proud to say that my consistent efforts in eating clean and healthy, combined with regular physical activity, paid off. Within three months, I successfully lost 50 pounds and was able to achieve my goal weight.
